Spring Morning

Out checking the herd this morning. The girls love this nice fresh air! The bluebonnets are not on the menu, however. The cows like the soft blades of grass growing between the flowers.

Happy New Year!! Yes, these Indian Paintbrush are blooming along the road! They are usually the first sign of Spring but my calendar says January 1, 2022! What will the groundhog have to say about this?
