The air this morning is crisp and fresh! Nature is waking up and showing us her beauty. The spring grasses are coming in nicely even though we do need rain and the birds are busy with their nest!
Spring is such a wonderful season! Enjoy! The bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush are out in full force!
The milk weed is beginning to bloom plus the dandelions and other native flowers are blooming! Monarchs should be arriving soon!!!
We are in for a few more days of glorious rain! I love the rain! I can also smell spring in the air! I know it’s right around the corner and the very beginning of spring has a wonderful, fresh smell!
We are also beginning to think about the Monarch Butterfly migration. They will begin to leave Mexico in early March and head our way. Several years ago we spotted a few of the delicate crystalis around the yard so we will be watching and recording any that we may see again this year.
